We are breathe every day- and everyone has a unique breathing pattern. The way we live our lives is reflected in our breathing pattern. 

Breathwork is a powerful practice that involves conscious breathing techniques to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It can be used as a portal to your inner world, bringing awareness and insights. Enabling you to tap into your body's innate healing abilities, leading to greater vitality, clarity, and inner peace.


We all have experiences in our life that affect our breathing pattern. As a young child , we already start to (unconsciously) dose or control our breathing. By not breathing fully, we don't have to feel everything.  As we grow older, we mostly  unlearn to cry, yawn, scream, laugh freely; basically to allow & express our feelings.   Everytime we (unconsciously) hold our breath, we block a feeling arising from within us. We control or suppress feelings and emotions, for example, by tightening muscles in the abdominal area, breathing higher, exhaling tensely, or by simply breathing less expansively.

We can consciously use our breath to reconnect with our feelings and our body again. By consciously choosing to breathe, we invite and welcome every part of ourselves. Allowing ourselves to become aware of our inner world and fully embody our true self.

Breathwork  and bodywork are  such beautiful and essential methods to get to the core. Traditional treatment/therapy mostly does not consider the body. We are then still able to hold up a certain strory. Our bodies store trauma responses, the memories of those old trauma's, that are getting generalized now to the present moment. So therefore we Need somatic and body based work, so we can integrate and begin to really shift our body stored memory.
